A Georgian Table for Your Wedding Celebrations
In Georgia, we have a tradition made for exactly this kind of occasion. It's called supra, and it brings people together through generous food, wine, and meaningful toasts. At Chama Mama, our dining experiences offer a warm, personal way to host engagement dinners, rehearsal dinners, wedding welcome gatherings, and post-wedding celebrations in New York City. Wedding celebrations often bring together people who have traveled from different cities, countries, and even continents. Some guests may be meeting for the first time, while others haven't seen each other in years. A shared Georgian feast gives everyone a natural reason to connect. The food becomes part of the conversation, and the table feels less formal as the evening progresses.

An Intimate Rehearsal Dinner
For 8–15 guests, our Supra Experience offers a curated family-style Georgian menu at $75 per person. With the menu already arranged, everyone can focus on getting to know each other.
This format works particularly well for an intimate gathering with close family, the wedding party, and a few special friends. Rather than deciding on individual dishes and coordinating everyone's preferences during dinner, guests can enjoy the experience together. It creates a welcoming atmosphere for the evening before the wedding, when everyone is finally in the same place.

A Larger Cathering With Food & Wine
The Art of Georgian Table is designed for groups of 16–25. This experience brings together a collaboratively created menu and Georgian wine pairings, perfect for an evening centered on food, conversation, and toasts.
If food and wine are an important part of your celebration, this experience offers an opportunity to make them central to the occasion. Georgia's winemaking traditions provide a wonderful starting point for exploring different styles of wine alongside traditional dishes. It's especially appealing for couples who love culinary experiences or want to introduce their guests to something beyond a conventional rehearsal dinner.

Looking For a Private Celebration?
Our events team can help you explore private dining spaces, customized menus, beverage options, and arrangements for larger wedding gatherings.
When planning a rehearsal dinner or welcome party, consider whether you want an entirely seated celebration or a more flexible gathering where guests can mingle. Guest count, event duration, and the type of atmosphere you envision will help determine the best arrangement. If you're welcoming friends and family over the course of a wedding weekend, a relaxed reception may suit your plans better than a formal dinner.
